Who we are

What the quote form collects, and why

When you ask for a quote, you send us: sea or air, where the cargo starts and where it's going, what it is, the date it will be ready, your name, your company, your email address and, if you give it, your phone number. We use them only to answer your request and prepare a quote. They reach us as an email, and we reply from our inbox. We don't use them for marketing, and we don't sell them or share them beyond the services below.

We rely on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), or, where you ask for yourself, on taking the steps you ask for before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Without these details we can't answer your request.

How long we keep it

We keep a quote request for up to 24 months after our last exchange about it, then delete it. If it leads to a contract, we keep what the law requires for business records.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and, on our behalf, runs the form's server, checks that the form is sent by a person (Turnstile), and counts visits (Web Analytics). Our email provider stores the emails the form sends us. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards in its data processing terms.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies, so it has no cookie banner. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across websites: it measures the pages viewed and how fast they load. When you reach the quote form, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a short check in your browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare says Turnstile processes only the data that check needs, and doesn't read what you type into the form: see its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, and ask us to correct them, delete them, limit how we use them, or send them to you in a portable form. You can also object to our using them. Write to info@brelextrade.com. If you think we've mishandled your details, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), www.aki.ee.
